My weekend in pictures: Twenty20 and ambling around Nottingham

I hope everyone had a nice weekend and enjoyed the sunshine. I had a lovely weekend staying close to home this time!

I went to the Twenty20 cricket at Trent Bridge on Friday night (I was supporting Derbyshire and Nial Nottinghamshire) which was great fun. Then on Saturday I had a cuppa at a new coffee shop on Beeston High Road (Greenhood Coffee House) and Nial tells me the coffee was out of this world. In the afternoon I had an amble around Nottingham with my friend Jess including visits to Page 45, Cobden Chambers, the Pudding Pantry (delicious raspberry gateau) and the new Pablo Bronstein and Chatsworth Treasures exhibition at Nottingham Contemporary before heading off to Normanton-on-Soar for a meal to celebrate my in-law’s anniversary. On Sunday I mostly sat on the sofa reading Batgirl and knitting but also popped to Rye on Beeston High Road for a cuppa with Kerry and a beer with Nial. It was a really lovely summer-y weekend.
