As I haven’t been feeling very well over the last week I had a very quiet and relaxing recovery weekend which has been wonderful. I did, however, get to do a few enjoyable bits and bobs:
Stitching the Frosted Pumpkin Stitchery Story Time sampler (I’m so far behind!) and watching Fargo (the film) on Friday night. We just finished re-watching the amazing TV series with Martin Freeman and Billy Bob Thornton (which I would highly recommend) so watching the film afterwards seemed the thing to do!
I was given an Amazon voucher for doing a survey so ordered some treats for me including the Pandemic board game (can’t wait to play this) and That Part Was True by Deborah McKinlay which I’ve already started reading.
Saturday night saw a lovely evening of Chinese food and films at my friend Jess’s house. This is my specific Hot Fuzz happy face!
Then my husband arrived back from his weekend away with Krispy Kreme doughnuts. Amazing. Perfect end to the weekend!
I hope you all had lovely weekends!
